What you're agreeing to: a monthly storage rental beginning on your move-in date, plus a Unit Preparation Fee paid today. The fee pays for real work: our staff attend the facility, clean and inspect your unit, and record its condition ready for your move-in. It is credited against your first rent payment when you take the unit. From your move-in date, rent is payable in advance at the rate above and continues until you cancel. We're a UK self-storage operator (Store Store 24).
Unit Preparation Fee: taken today. It is a one-off administration charge that covers cleaning, readying and photographing your unit for you, and it is applied as a credit toward your first payment when you move in.
Your unit is prepared and held until your move-in date (up to 30 days).
Cancellation: month-to-month. Give 14 days' notice via your account or by emailing us. You have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to begin providing storage during that period, you may still cancel, but you must pay the agreed proportionate charge for the storage provided up to the date you cancel.
Paperwork after payment: you'll receive an email with the Storage Agreement to sign and (where required) ID-verification steps. Your access PIN issues once those are complete.

I expressly request my storage service to begin on my selected move-in date, even if this is before the end of my 14-day cancellation period. I understand that I may still cancel during that period, but I must pay the proportionate agreed charge for storage provided up to cancellation.

A £20.00 Unit Preparation Fee is taken today. It covers getting your unit cleaned, readied and photographed for you. As a welcome gift, every move-in also gets £20.00 off their first payment. Your rent only starts on the move-in date itself.
